Atomic Style Laminate and Metal 3 Piece Coffee and End Tables

A vintage, laminate coffee table and two end tables with metal accents offered by Snowdrift Antiques.
 
This is a classic 1950s three piece laminate and metal leg furniture set consisting of a coffee table and two step end tables. The tops are a brown laminate with a faux wood grain. The legs are brushed gold/brass colored metal.  All of the pieces have a smooth, metal band around the edges.  The step end tables have a wonderful metal insert between the upper and lower surfaces. All of the legs are slightly angled for that important atomic look.
 
This set is marked only with a number under the coffee table, which wasn’t enough to give us a clue as to who made them. 
 
These pieces are in excellent vintage condition.  The laminate has minor, age-appropriate fine scratches here and there but there are no chips. The metal banding has some minor wear here and there but no major issues. The legs are in excellent shape. The coffee table legs may be replacements, but the legs on all of the pieces are in excellent condition.
 
The coffee table measures 43 ½ inches long by 20 ¾ wide by 16 ½ high. The end tables 29 ½ deep by 18 wide with a top tiered height of 21 inches.
 
This is a very cool, very hard to find three piece set of 1950s atomic style laminate furniture that is sure to make a statement in just the right room.
